that makes sense.. All I did was undo the bottom 13mm nut and the caliper came up easy I didn't touch the handbrake at all so it's the same 🙂

I feel bad for my van 🙁 really bad I've finally found a picture of when it was first done and it's been ruined tbh it needs a shit load of work to look like this again but I must say it used to look the absolute nuts 🙂

I've got 3 pics of it and the for sale ad from 2011
it says it's cleaned at least 3 times week polished every weekend and this explains the engine as it had a oil n filter change ever 4000 miles. I'm going to try and contact the bloke on mk3 owners club it seems the person also has or had a mk3 van with a v6 in it hmmm

I'm in two minds to get Carl to fit the cupra splitter to mine??? i don't the bumper as low as my current one and catching on curbs etc.

In the photo bud, your van seems to have a nice back box on it also? And seems a lot lower than what u had a PVS

Right I'm not driving around in a van that used to look that good and looks shit compared now so I'm going to do a Carl on it I'm starting at the rear and replacing everything.. I'll probably end up with a newer shell but same plate so you won't notice lol

is it lmf that do the genuine opc bumper? its my birthday next week I might treat myself :-)

also can anyone advise me on spraying or dying my headlining black?

Mine the LMF repilca GSI and all is missing is the GM stamp u crave lol

yeah it used to have a twin exhaust which is why the spare wheel recess is cut out..
there's always been a mark on the rear wheel arch which is now obvious it's where the spats used to be and I've always wondered how the front inner wheels arches are rubbed when it doesn't rub and it's clearly because it's a good 10-20mm lower there than it is now.
The bloke I got it off needs a slap for treating this van like that how can it go from that to this in less than 2 years?

I mean the rear one mate 🙂 my front bumper is genuine and has a support bar on it already for a splitter that isn't there anymore lol
it all makes sense now..
In the ad it says the traction control doesn't work and when I buy it the abs led is broken and the abs unit has been changed to a standard one without tc lol

yes it is lmf but they're not cheap for the genuine ones

I know there around £400 but I want it to be genuine and fiber glass bumpers feel cheap when you touch it imo

all the really well built mk4 vans will have an opc rear bumper

I've looked into getting a mk5 van with the vxr kit even driven a couple and I prefer the feel of the mk4 I couldn't get a nice feel of the road in a new one the steering covered all the bumps etc it was almost boring lol
