Balancer chain kit

Possibly over tightened them for peace of mind you should replace them all different branded kits seem to have a couple missing

I didn't over tighten anything. As I said in my post about this subject, I torqued the fasteners up correctly and I can also check the calibration of my torque wrenches in work.

I've got a chain to do on a YH tomorow, and i'll make a mental note of what bolts i'm missing.

I had the same issue with a GM kit on Thursday. Both the FAI kit and the GM kit only supply 2 of those bolts, despite 4 being listed (EPC also lists 4). My local GM dealer is speaking to VX to find out what is happening and why the kit has been changed. I'll also speak with FAI on Monday when I'm back.

While I was at VX on Thursday, we opened several balance chain kits, and all of them only had 2 of the bolts.

They are fairly cheap, so if they have adjusted the parts supplied, I can look at supplying an extra 2 with the kits we sell if people would be happier with 4.

are the bolts on the balancer chain the same as the black tensioner rail bolts from a main chain kit ? i have a part number for 2 in a pack if they are

Only had one missing in the kit I fitted today. And that was the tensioner rail one.
