evocarlos it will be awhile before i fill it need to remove the fuel filler neck so ive only put £20 of super in

I prefer to o. Calculation rather than MFD.
Matt I've found the MFD on the VXR to be quite inaccurate as well. Mine is showing 28mpg, but I'm actually only getting a calculated 23mpg.
MikeS cos on the motorway there is no stop start if you in an urban area then you struggle to get over 40 mph most days imo 65 mpg on motorway got me 44 mpg, 30/35 mpg driving steady on normal roads stop start and ragging it around 20 mpg
astra22bertoneauto Wish i could read mine but my MFD is just a blur of dead lines & pixels.......even just putting the radio code in tricky

Calculation rather than MFD. i just did a full reset on the mfd 5 sec hold till it shows stars that way it zeros all in the mfd and gets the mileage to the drive to work 24-26 mpg (14 mile there and back with a quick blast down the bypass but a steady drive home) motor way 22 mpg last time i went to brum i was cruising back at higher speeds so fuel was ploppy poo poo im sure i got 34mpg on a trip to gatwick at steady motorway speed most of the way there
MikeS put it this way if you get on average 40 mpg in a 2.2 I doubt many people would be driving around in lawn mower sized cars

Soon as i went over the 3k revs the consumption dropped! But I had stage 2 cams to thank for that..... These pics were from when I was doing almost 50 miles a day to and from work, with CAREFUL use!!! THE most i got from the car.
evocarlos 200 miles covered from a full tank 57 mph set on the cruisecontrol did not pass 3k rpm or 70 mph at any point just above half way now and showing 331 miles remaining 41.7 mpg it wont go no higher i did try
corsaZ22se i can only dream of mpg like that in my corsa z22se!🙁 around 25mpg average driving on mixed roads at the moment. hope to get better mpg when i fit new final drive.
corsaZ22se when the engine was in the vectra b it would do 32mpg average. it weighed in at 1.7ton due to all the sound proofing and sound system in the car.
