I bet that 70amp battery was a tight fit in there! I had a nightmare trying to replace the standard one

bit of a squeeze but it goes if you loosen the windscreen trim.
the bolts are tight, there would be a big flash should they ever short out! need to move them so they are vertical realy but as you can imagine space is limited some what. may fix a divider between them some rubber or plastic? have to see whats in the shed.
all needs retriming once ive saved a few more pennies. (y)

bit of rubber would do or some large shrink tube on the +12v side to stop any big flashy things 🙂
i was always worried about my 2nd batt in the boot spilling acid over the floor then found a pipe to fit it for gas venting

got some cable conduit some where as a tempoary messure.
when i rolled my cavalier i was worried the battery would have leaked on to the amps etc as it was left on its roof over night but not a drop had leaked! which was nice! realy need to invest in a jelly battery but they aint cheep for a decent one!

I had that happen in my old Fiesta. Burned right through the sound deadening I fitted. Luckily I spotted it before it did too much damage.

its nasty stuff and only way is gel batts but as said there big bucks for just 1
a mate of mine had all his tools in his boot and the amp came loose and shorted in 2 days all the tools went rusty and were unusable made a right mess

had my tea (most important that!) then went out to the shed and did this to the power caps. also redid earth wire as it was bugging me in the photos looked a right mess. this is a temporary fix untill i move them.

been on that now. (y)
looks better with colour matched bumper trims. when the weather picks up ive got an irmscher boot spoiler, stienmetz front lip spoiler and lmf cross hatch gill to go on. dont fancy doing it in the cold incase the glue doesnt set?

Probably better to wait before gluing. I had issues with the GTI spoiler on my 106, as that was just bonded on, and one corner kept coming loose.

It does look really well very OE with subtle mods, carnt beat vauxhall sleepers 🙂

couple of shots in the rain at the fast show. my corsa b along side it gave me ideas of what to do with paint colour. 🙂

no, ive seen corsa C's in arden blue and it doesnt suit them. the colour i have in mined is something differant alltogether! 😉
wount be for a year or 2 as i want to get the engine sorted, gearbox sorted, air con sorted and leave the paint till last.

had a spare hour today and the weather was good so decided it was time to fit the Irmscher irs boot spoiler ive had painted since january!
