corsaZ22se picked the crank up from balancing yesterday, had crank, flywheel, clutch, rods and pistons done, lost some weight but mostly just much better balanced. few more parts on order then time to build up the new bottom end. don't want to take her off the road as she's so much fun to drive 😃 still looking for the new project car, white is proving a difficult colour to find 🙁
corsaZ22se had a spare hour and half tonight so stripped the Saab engine down ready for rebuild. deadline is 1st march to have her back on the road. should only take a weekend to swap bottom ends, gearbox, front end loom, and a few other little jobs. wrapped up the parts to keep them clean ready for rebuild.
corsaZ22se had a day off work yesterday so started with a drive around collecting parts, dropping parts off and shopping for new ice. (been pricing up JL Audio kit for a new boot build as existing kit is over 15 years old now plus takes up to much room) today adding more parts, new front splitter, new front badge, new headlamp bulbs, blue led strips under bonnet, seat, and over amps, new gearstick gaiters, new reversing lamp switch. quick wash off for tonight.

corsaZ22se yes irmscher splitter, got the sticker from ebay. found it while searching for the supercharged badge. they do it with turbo on to dave! 🙂
