thats alot but then i guess there is a few steps to get the shaft out and swap the gators
aftermarket kits are cheap enuff but there in lies the problem lets see how long it lasts 🙂

I just told them I'd get it done at next MOT, and it's someone else's problem now 😉

you still have that set of pads for your vxr ?

I think I threw them in the bin the other week. I'll double check when I get home in the morning.

lol carlos the 308's look a lot more impressive on the standard 16" sri alloys

yeah lol i cant get my 16" on with the 308's spokes are to close to the caliper
looking at you pic to the 308s with my 18"s it just shows you how small the discs really are

the other caliper and the vxr discs are going to work with me in 5 hours to get put thru the shot blast
since the angle grinder blew up ive not been able to clean the 2nd one up
i can see astra vxr rear disc conversion coming this weekend lol

parts clean 🙂
i did take a little of the lip away on the discs before they were shot blasted

the caliper came out real nice the duct tape held long enough to protect the bolts and seal flange

disc were not so great but hey whos going to know once there covered in black paint 🙂

astra vxr rear hub
disc and the longer caliper plate
also got the loom as the plugs are different to the astra g abs
got a noisy rear bearing so going to try one of these hubs 1st

got a z20let ecu bracket to make the z22se one that floating around the engine bay fit
and a coupe turbo 308" set of calipers to recondition

i have got a set of mintex for £28 off the bay (turns out there the same pads as the vec c )🙂
pad springs,new gm bleed nipples and caps on there way from vx

2nd caliper is now painted and put back together

Yep, brought mine off there too today (the red 308 calipers - £42 delivered).

Will be taking the carriers off, shot blast them at my friends and then give them a spray with some silver paint :-)
