would it not be better to fit larger injectors and run a lower fuel pressure? found this out with my xev, running 4.2bar with standard injectors, 183bhp 3.2bar on vxr injectors 189bhp and better power delivery/life span of parts.
still very impressive for a home build. hats off to you sir! 🙂

thanks 🙂 i must of done something right lol
fuel pressure is not fixed as i thought it was
because the FPR get vacuum at idle its 3.0bar but as soon as you hit boost the FPR get 13psi making 4.45bar so not much point in changing the injectors now unless i go and get it remapped again
higher fuel rail pressure = less duty cycle 🙂 i think there within spec for the map running at 267hp
i was also on the understanding that the let injectors are 270max well they are at 3.0bar 🙂

haha up yours mr vectra spares on ebay wanting £40 for a fuel rail
picked one up at £20 local

only bought it for the alloy blocks to bring the rail out from the head i cant use the rail as its only got one pipe in got a set of injectors for sale now tho 🙂

also fitted the brand new injector insulators after i found some o-rings for them

well the wetter water works a treat
before (little dribble)

no mate there the wrong type 🙂 there the ones fitted to mini chargers

i got mine from here

for the old charger but wont need any for 50k miles with the new charger
the m62 lsj uses open case needle bearing

you can get the other bearings in the UK
3 x 6203 C3
1 x 6402 C3

and just fill the charger gearbox with 100ml of ATF dex2

went thru a big puddle quicker than i should have
power sounders going off randomly again lol new one is £60 :confused:

got this thru the post looks like it had been force fed thru the cat flap

made a tool to hold the crank pulley still while undoing the nut
the loop was bent by hand round a grinder motor i blew up at work lol
its not my welding so it should be strong hehe

just need to finish cutting the slots
heres how it looks from the rear

should be like this eventually 🙂

nice tool there carl ,how do you normally go about holding the crank pulley still whilst undoing the bolt,i normally put a bolt in one of the holes so it stops against one of the vanes on the oil pump cover
