ahhh poo just spoke with CS on the phone my ecu no longer has the egr turned off!!! that will explain the light on now and again
and they did not backup my ecu memory so they can't re add it

got some bits in the post from them to 🙂

It really does make a difference when it can use the extra RON.

yeah 99 vs 97 seems to have so much more torque was only £61 to fill it also 🙂

well the main thing is ive been getting the spanner light on then it resets with key off and on so if a missing egr puts the spanner light on then yes lol
the only issue with trying to fit it now is the plug had been cut off and the wires tidied into the loom would have to bodge the plug back on to test
me laptop is in bits so i can read the codes atm 🙁

In the 4 years I've had the Astra, I've only used Sainsburys once, and Tesco twice, all the rest has been V-Power from Shell.

normally just put the esso super in but that was before the charger 🙂

I was always dubious about premium petrol until I bought a car which could use it properly.

the fact the charger still has oil in it is a good thing 🙂

ive pretty much only ever used v power in the z22se since ive had it. tried 95ron fuel to start with but it seemed to have a bigger flat spot in the mid range.
the x20xev only runs on 99ron due to higher comp ratio and mapping.
good mpg's there for town driving. 🙂

for the 1st time today i smelt fuel like the other guys said but only after i put optimax in
<u>shopping list </u>
pistons and rods
front rad
saab head
stainless manifold parts
stainless 3" zorst parts
clutch+slave and lightened flywheel
lightened crank pulley
equal length drive shaft + bracket
and maybe vxr front calipers

i've only ever used premium fuel in this car on the very rare occasion i used normal unleaded low cash lol
im happy its better on fuel around town with the charger value for money right there 🙂

yes mate there loads of private roads round here 🙂 the other cars were fitted in with HD in aftereffects 🙂
went to put the color coat on the bumper and while i was wiping it down with a tack rag it started raining came in will try again tomorrow

Glad to hear that about the video mate lol. Thats a pain, you need to get that man cave sorted :whistle: No rain here so I managed to make mine look like a mirror 🙂
