well after trying for what seams like an eternity i have managed to get the bulk head connector apart
the engine bay loom has brown/violet to the bulkhead but not the dash loom
well it does now 🙂 pics soon im on a mission

new toys bought 🙂
not bad for expert and the socket set was supposed to be £38 but got the 2 items for £44 🙂

ok the bulk head connector and the missing pin on the dash side

now i got it apart i can see there is a pin to the engine bay side

i taken the pin from the cabby dash loom and fitted it to my loom

its a right misson

but the engine bay is comptle now and with the new washer jets 🙂

time for tea then go test its working 🙂

you mean the one on the right hand side with the great big zero gauge cable on it 🙂

right heres the 1st test of the C/C system not quite sure how it all works yet but the buttons all do something 🙂

i ment my back is not very good stupid heavy lifting at work

right cars starting to look like a car again lol
waiting on my new white rubber paint to arrive then finish up the new wiring on the auto levelers

sat in the car with it on 22 auto it was very toasty i like the fact the fan comes in and out with the rising/falling temp

right ive come up with a plan to recreate the standard LED i will use
1206 SMD LED

and
2.54mm right angle pin header

heres all the LED's removed 18 of them 🙂

parts due in the morning 🙂

paint came so i made a start on the trim

yep other bits came out fine the top was cack and needed doing a 2nd time

i know i'll stay in waiting for that van to come but no the driver refuses to find our house the only one on this side of the road with a grate big sign on the drive oh but wait they rang my phone you know the one i dont use and have the ringer turned off cause of all the calls from India and how they get the number anywho!!!

the centre console was a bitch the paint that was on it caused some problems so i flatted it down sprayed it with some special plastic primer then star silver then the white rubber paint but chipped the lower half so pulled the rubber paint off
heres what i got for now

ive bought a new trim off eBay for £24 will try and find the other trim parts in the scrappy and spray them silver to match the new one

finally got round to rewiring the auto leveller system the short route
looks kind of tidy 🙂

need to re-tape the main loom

all the wires are now part of the dash loom and could be removed with the dash if necessary

just need to probe the lights on feed to make sure im getting the right one then the system is complete

i did turn the ignition on and the warning lamp went off after 2 sec then came on when i turned the headlights on which is normal when the headlights on feed is disconnected will need to remove the error with op-com
