Nah not bothering with HID's, my lights are bright enough and can't be bothered with fitting light washer jets etc, to make the HIDs' legal.

Didnt know they needed washers to be kegal. Just thought it hss to be under 8000 kandles

Yea, HID's require washer jets to be legal come MOT time. See Evocarlos thread on them as I think he fitted them.

Just as well I didnt sell standard lights. What about these new cars half of them dont hav washers. Ill look up thread now

They all have washers and auto levelling, its part of the EU rules and regs since 2000 or around about I think.

Any that don't are probably brought in the EU abroad in right hand drive as there is a hole in the EU regs which lets you.

no
aftermarket hid kits fitted at home by yourself do NOT require auto level or headlamp washing system 🙂 all they require are proper beam pattern when tested during mot and also not to blind oncoming driver (right height)

i fitted the 2 systems to my car cause i could not that i needed to 🙂

the law states
car manufacturers when supplying brand new cars with xenon lighting systems must have auto level and washer systems fitted as of 2000 ish

mot requires any system (auto level , headlamp washers, window washers, airbags, etc etc) fitted to the car being tested to be fully functional

they're full of shit lol they spout the same bollocks on aoc
you can hold me to my above post if any one tells you different you can tell them they are wrong🙂 had hids in my car since 2007 i did the guide on here i always asked the question at mot time they're not interested beam pattern and height is all that matters its good advice to clean your lights before going for an mot test to 🙂
