Quality and fitting was spot on. I actually broke one of the levelling motors, because I didn't fit the bulb correctly first time around. I ended up having to fix it with super glue, but that was all down my error on my part.

for me there very good quality and the adjustment motors are same fit as the standard hella lamp
even tho i went with shark eyes

im not sure how to tell for sure
but always thought pre 2002 was se1 and anything after was se2
will need to confirm that tho

I am just after the same lights as I have now, the ones with the black in them, trying to keep it oem.

This weekend, dropped the oil in the gearbox as shifting was a pig and didn't spring back, now its all good, gave the linkages and cables a grease too. My mate did the tracking so she now steers properly and also cleaned up the earth contacts and now it starts much nicer.

Wanted to fit the short shift too this weekend but, there is play in the shaft in the ball joint area. Been trying to find out if there are any bushes to replace at the same time plus the linkage is feeling loose.

Is it going to be a new gear lever?

Paintwork in Europa Blue

Purchased in September 2010 with 104k on the clock, sitting there shining in the sun on the forecourt, managed to get it for a nice price as the dealer had too many cars.

Car came with a Piper cat back system, smelly cat and some crap JVC stereo. I soon replaced the cat with a custom decat pipe made by a friend who makes custom exhausts. Upgraded the front bulbs to some nice ice white ones (no blue light), put my Pioneer IPOD headunit in, replaced the speakers with...

This week, I managed to finish my mk5 flip key conversion. I also brought a new aerial mast rubber washer (thanks to evocarlos showing me in the right direction) and a new new vauxhall emblem for my boot as originally someone has put a large one on and its poo. 🙂

There is more to come over the next 4 weeks 🙂

Part of me thinks its lower than I think it is.... meant to be 30/35 drop, the back looks really low on standard 17"s

Also a picture of the new number plate bulb holder.. deffo makes a difference!
