yeh im gonna go to a local place and see what i can get.

its just finding where to put the wires im hoping it will be easier than the vectra conversion not that its that bad looking but we will see, al try to find some more info on it. as that listing on ebay says he will sell the cable to me then give full instructions but im not paying 32 quid for a bit of wire and a few instructions when iv got all the instructions to do mine off here for nothing. when i do mine i will take loads of photos and give full instructions and do a how to for the site and the same for the cd30 if i can manage it. nice 1

Dont pay for any info from ebay mate, there's one guy that sells info thats in the handbook... Google and forums are the way forward. Pull the CD30 and look at the wiring diagram to see if it supports aux in first. There seams to be several different versions of the CD30, some aux enabled, some MP3 some powered normally and some like in the Vec C and Astra H that are Can-bus.

There's a link here to VXRO with some info, its for an Astra H but the info is good.

LIKE YOU SAY GOOD INFO, I WILL HAVE TO PULL IT OUT AND HAVE A LOOK.

it sounds easier than mine, and no silent cds either. like it says though by the looks of it theres a few cd30 models with or without aux . does any body know how to identify the 1s with aux without removing the HU...
