Called Adrain Flux tonight and cancelled the renewal. They asked my reasons so I told the chap on the phone that I felt that I had been a loyal customer and was entering year 5 and they hadn't done their very best for me. When I told him that, he asked if he could try and get the price down a bit more??? Almost verging on the edge of insult really.
I told him that I have made my mind up and would like a refund. So.....refund on the way!
Immediately after, I called Sam at Sky Insurance and told him what I had done. He was amazed that i'd gone through with the cancellation but seemed happy for me to take him up on his quote. I didn't have my wallet on me at the time so he's calling me first thing in the morning to sort out the policy and take my payment. I mentioned our forum and that Jason was an existing customer of theirs. Come this time tomorrow I shall have a new policy with Sky Insurance.
