well after lots of deliberation i decided to look at ways to solve my potential egr problem,read through allthe posts on here several times and decided my egr was faulty.so today i went about sorting after a shitty drive yesterday ****** car would not idle ,right out in the cold took the old devil off and cleaned it then thought bugger it blank it off so i found a big washer and a 50c euro coin (as they were the same thickness fitted these between valve and engine the washer so the plunger could still operate and the coin to blank the other hole off.bolted all back together and took for a run good so far.then later went for another little stop start drive and still all good so i will see how it goes ...revs seem to settle back better too not so fast to drop off
was just looking for a cheap test method really but if it works i will stick with it
