injector leak !!!!

if it is the injector seal then they are a pretty much standardized seal, scrappy m8 and look for one, just give it a good bit of grease when u refit

Pop into a local motor factors and they will probs have a selection of o-rings in a box. Had to replace some on my mates yh when I fitted new swirl flaps as the injectors wudnt come out the head

Cheers guys, only other concern is the white plastic ring on the injector as I have broken one completely off have also called most motor places local and none of them do the seal kits and have mentioned any universal rings :s

I found nothing universal when looking that will replace the metal clips and blue clips.
The white plastic thing I doubt you will find anywhere bar VX.
Think I had to wait a few days from VX but think about this, if they broke when you pulled out your rail what condition are ones from a scrappy going to be.

I have ordered the kit this morning for delivery on wednesday, It cost £27.46 :confused:, did you say the kit contained the white plastic things Gary??

yep. 5 types of bits. 1 white for injector rail end, 1 black for head end, what look like springs ones which are above O ring, blue homing clip which keeps the injector in the same place in the rail and the metal clips which push the injector into the head.
Even I didn't think you get that much

Ahhhh thanks very much for your info Gary, you have been very helpful, lets just hope it all goes back together easily with no leaks, as i am a bit of a beginner when it comes to this, bit of grease to ease the injectors back into the block and rail shouldn't hurt i don't think :S
