Throttle Body arrived today, so set about fitting it when i came back from work. Have to say it was dead easy to fit and upon inspection im very impressed with NickyB's craftsmanship. :thumbup: .
Most frustrating thing was the half hour wait with the battery disconected then the easy drive for 30 miles. Ended up doing about 45 as i wasn't paying attention..! loopy.. Anyway the time them came for me to apply some right foot. Now i'll be completely honest i didnt expect to find much of a difference, however on a mildly damp road i changed down from 4th to 3rd planted my foot and it just lit up the wheels..! Seriously the car just took off... really wasn't expecting it. The TB just seems to work really well with the modifications I have so far, throttle responce is better and so is the power delivery. And like many have said the induction noise is superb.
Now as you may have noticed im slighly pleased with this little modification.. but i always think the best ones are the ones that exceed your expecations, and this one certainly did.
Have to say i was impressed with how clean the original TB was before i took it off.
