I partioned her 500gb drive into 3....(just checked)

Cool, just read a couple more articles, and just need to fix the bootloader once XP has been installed.

Yeah, if you install XP after windows 7, it will over write the windows 7 master boot record, and not let you access the windows 7 partition.

Worse that will happen is you lose 7 lol.....but i'm sure you can sort that.....(backups all in place)

Decided to set my laptop up today to dual boot XP and Windows 7.....what a mistake!

There are NO XP drivers for my Laptop, so nothing worked. No LAN/WLAN/Graphics/Sound. Then couldn't get back to the Windows 7 install, so had to flatten and re-install 7. Luckily everything is backed up, just a pain re-installing.
