What is the deciding factor on when dual springs are needed?
It's not really a single/dual spring issue, but the fact that it needs the "dished" retainers that gives more spring travel as with OE one you'll be too close to coil bind (coil binds at 12mm valve lift and you normally need 1mm between the coil collision and the max allowed lift)
EDIT : actually most springs manufacturers recommend 1.5mm between coil bind and max lift notsure.gif
