i know this is an old post, but can anyone shed some light on this issue as my car has just started to do it, twice now in one week, first time i was hard breaking going over a small bump in the road, as i put the clutch in, it stalled, lights came on the dash, brake pedal went hard :wtf: took my foot off the clutch and it started again, fuel tank was a quarter full. Second time wasnt braking to hard, coming up to lights, as i came to a halt the car had stalled, i didnt even realise for a second untill i look down and saw the dash lights on.
I havent changed the coil pack, battery, or spark plugs since ive owned it, its got 175,000km on the clock and ive owned it since 100,000km, the battery's sight glass is green which means its ok, but it could be on its last legs, i dont really know how to check the coil pack, and ill be changing the plugs this week. No real mods to the car, Egr cheater/blanking plate, veccy c intake, pre cat removed, one amp one sub and one head unit.
We have been going through i big heat wave to atm, between 39-45 degrees, thought it may have something to do with it but the engine temp seems fine..
any advice would be great.
