It was packed!! The fairground rides in the centre were shut and don't open until 2nd April but there was still plenty for the kids to do on the front. We had some chips and went for a walk on the beach and then Lauren & Jack wanted to spend some money on the 2p slot machines. I was really suprised to see that the holiday camp has been bulldozed for a new housing estate. Christine and myself had our first holiday together there when we were in our late teens. We did go to Barry not long before Lauren was born and it was in an awful state. Its certainly on the up now though. showo.. i have not been to barry island since i was a child myself. glad the kids enojyed them selfs, its suprising the entertainment you can get out of those 2p machies!
