well ive had another play, in the snow, ive eliminated the imobiliser circuit, everything works fine on that part.
John what i have found is if the imobiliser is not deactivated a car with padlock appears as a pictogram and will not turn over at all, like yours.
My problem is purely the injectors arnt fireing, obviously not being told to because of the comms fault with the DIM module, though im unsure as to what part the Dash interface has to play with the engines operation, surely the dash interface only relays information ie revs etc.
Im going to research this some more and speak with VX on monday, see if they can shed any light on the matter, though i know what their answer will be, £££££'s
