Just a k&n panel filter, Remus centre and an irmscher letterbox and that's it mate, and she is a little old LS nothing fancy.
Since going on the rollers the pre cats been removed.that's it.
What have you done so far?

Forgot to mention, had a full rebuild about two/three years back as the timing chain snapped, semed to be alot more pokey after that.

I've not done much really, I only got the car maybe 4 weeks ago, since then I've p&p the TB, K&N air filter, Cold air feed + pipe mods, small amount of weight reduction, full service, removed the pre cat, EGR delete, and looking for more.

Talking of pre cat, I didn't actually take one out, but I don't think mine has one....
Mine appears to have a non Vauxhall cat, and when I had the exhaust manifold off, I couldn't see a pre cat in the down pipe, so I figure I don't have one..... Is that right, or is the pre-cat further down ??? notsure.gif Hmm.... got me wondering now...

I assumed the pre-cat bolted up to the manifold....

the pre cat sits just in side the down pipe from the manifold u couldnt miss it, its like a small filter..

ive been thinking bout the to the v6 against the 2.2.. theres not much differnce as ive read through this thread..

My 1st vec 2.2 was a saloon n i got 156bhp out of it just been doing remus,scorpian back box off facelift gsi n pipercross cone filter..

With your current mods you may be looking at around 150ish unless you have a very healthy car.

Okay thanks for the info, good news is mine didn't have a pre-cat :thumbup:

I thought the 2.2 had 150 bhp as standard, chances of mine being a 'healthy' one are slim I guess.

It's listed as 150, but it's more like 143 standard.

I never realised the 2.2 had a precat. Are they easy to remove??? Do you get much gain by removing it? That could be why im on my 3rd manifold lol

Don't guess/estimate/fantatsise go and get a power run at your local rolling road!

You will be suprised how much power you are actually making,

Out of you list the, only the pre cat delete and k&n actually make power.

p.s My last rolling road (at superchips, in buckingham) i made 200.8 Bhp!
