Matt Yeah, as soon as I told the bloke on the phone the error code, he straight away said O2 sensor, and that they'd get it swapped under warranty.
MikeS sounds like a common fault be sure to get the associated paperwork with your warranty claim in case this issue turns up again 12 months down the line
Matt Don't worry, all paper work will be obtained. They also log all the work on the Pentagon system as well. I Could see all the previous work carried out on my Vectra before I bought it on their system.

Matt Rear O2 sensor needs to be replaced. Not a stock part, so they need to order it in, but I'm fine to drive it around until they have the part in. All covered by warranty.
dodger it's annoying when delaers don't hold what you think are common parts unless thay have had a number of rear sensors fail, looks like they have found the problem so that it a good thing. Back to modding then Matt
BURT150 Thats some bad luck you having matt. I was under the ilusion that fault codes tell you the part that is at fault but its just never that easy is it  Hope you get it sorted tho its one hell of a car
Matt Cheers guys, should be a nice quick easy fix replacing the sensor tomorrow, then hopefully nothing else to go wrong with it!
Matt Sensor was replaced this morning while I waited after finishing work. No eml, but will take a couple of days to see if it's cleared the issue.

Matt So do I, don't fancy having to keep going back. Don't think I'm going to be re-fitting the Iridium plugs any time soon either, think they can stay out until it's due a service next year.
Matt dodger said: Glad it's all sorted. Just fit the plugs to get your confidence back  I'm just worried about breaking the dist pack again trying to get it out, as it's a proper pain in the arse to remove. There must be a nack to getting it out.
MikeS worst thing they did was put a 2nd lambda in after the cat if the cat is fubar then replace it but why should we need a sensor to tell us anyway, it will be picked up on the MOT
