I'm going to change the plugs back tomorrow morning, as I had no issues with it before fitting them. Could a leak in the exhaust also cause this? I'mnot sure if I can hear a leak in the exhaust under the car?

Original plugs are back in. Will see what happens

Get the OE plugs back in Matt and as you said, see what happens. If it all goes tits up then VX can sprinkle some star dust on it and make it better again!

(don't know where that came from?? lol!)

i saw some amazing alloys on a metallic blue vxr astra today

they were like dark grey and had a blue trim around them similar to what kwikasfaki had on his vectra [redtrim]

it looked amazing matt

back to your plugs, get the standard's back in and take her for a gentle drive, the light in theory should come back on within 10'ish miles

thought those codes was post cat lambda matt

either ya cat is fubar, u got a leak on the zaust manifold or the sensor is fubar

i would change plugs back first though 🙂

thing with lambda faults is the codes wont appear straight away, it takes 5 - 10 miles to flash up

Think you may be right Mike, as looking on Autovaux, first O2 sensor is listed as Sensor 1, and second sensor listed as Sensor 2, so makes sense for it to be the second one.

Will see what happens now the old plugs are back in though.

Also, had to buy a new Coil Pack/Ignition Module, as I cracked the last spark plug connector taking it out last night :-(

I know, but I can't help myself, think I've got OCD or something when it comes to cars. Once I've got the dist pack and oil bolt fitted, I'm leaving the bugger alone

so true about " if it aint broke dont fix it" , i wasted hundreds of pounds mine thinking it might be wrong when infact it is even worse after replacing it
