I'm Confused???

I'm on the look out for a new mobile phone as my 3 contract is almost up now. I've been looking at the iPhone either on O2 or Vodafone when its released after Christmas. Tonight I've had my head turned a bit by the Blackberry Storm 2 on Vodafone. It looks like a stunning phone with very practical features.

Thoughts and opinions please.

if it means anything...2 people i know have had the iphone and got rid withing 2 weeks,however heard good reports about the storm

if that's the same as my blackberry but with a touch screen instead of ball, then it's a very reliable phone, although quite conservative in features (keep it simple, stupid). For overall technology I'm sure the iphone is better

I wouldn't be without my iPod touch, I'm stuck on a long contract with orange, but as soon as I can (with them doing the iPhone) I wouldn't hesitate in getting one.
Ease of use, applications, great for music and diary inputs etc.

i am getting the i phone, i would never get a blackberry i know so many people who ahve them and have nothing but problems with them and they all got rid of them.
but then there are problems with all phones.

use to look funky with the aerial hanging out the back of my jeans, first teenager in my area to get a mobile and i looked like a drug dealer

back then text messaging was free and the old mercury contracts were the muts nuts with free offpeak and weekend calls

nowadays i dont like them very much, rarely like using mine and just keep it charged up for emergencies

I started off with the MR20 in 1996 with Orange also. It was crap! The credit card type SIM card used to creep when the phone got hot during use and I always lost calls. Couldn't wait to get rid and upgraded my phone 4 months early for the Nokia 5.1

Iphone 3GS definitely... i got one on O2 about 6 weeks ago, this is by far the best mobile i have ever had, i have had a few blackberry's all of the xda's but the i phone leaves them all standing, internet speed is rapid, no problem getting on any site's the sat nav that is built in uses google earth and maps and is very good (although there is no woman telling you which way to turn lol) hundreds of very useful free apps available and i have downloaded loads of them..

Well I've had a blackberry for the last 18 months, and had no issues on it what so ever.

However, should be getting an iphone delivered today, as I upgraded my contract last night.

Well, no new phone for me today. They tried to deliver while I was out, but I was told because it's DHL@Home, you can ring them and they will re-deliver any time upto 9pm........well, the would if they answered their fucking phone!

I asked O2 if they would deliver it to my work, but they won't because it's a mobile phone, and they will only deliver to the billing address. Do they not realise most people WORK and are out during the day??

I visited the new apple store today. The man in there has advised me to wait another few weeks until they release the i-phone on vodafone. He also mentioned that if you buy from apple, they will do you the best deal even over vodafone themselves. Looks like i'll be hanging on just a wee bit longer.
