i would think about an induction system coming from the gearbox side, at least u dont have to contend with the coolant hoses on cam cover nor chain cover

speak to scott about his bonnet vents as well and his vent on the wing for his induction

That is true. Like you say you would probably need big fans and yea it would draw some amps. shame tho. i wouldnt want to have to cut holes in me bonnet. bonnet vents are hard to do without lookin chavy.

Have a look on the Cool Louvres website gallery. There's a selection of Vauxhall cars that have been done along with other makes. I thought it looked a bit poo but after seeing some of there work on some of the VVOC cars, it looks pretty good really.

go and buy some 200 mm fans off a computer place and hook em up together and run em off a switch

they are 12v DC

I just had a look they dont look that bad it would take some thought to where you would put them but in your case they'l be there for a reason and not just for fun. do you have to get the bonnet resprayed after?

After the louvres are pressed in they coat the area with red oxide paint so the whole bonnet will need repainting.

I was actually being sarcastic, as that is what chavs used to fit to their fiestas/saxos

Although, it would do the job.

The trouble with them vents is you have to cut a wackin great hole in your bonnet to fit them in or you fit it on top and blend it in with filler but then it gets heavy. If you have a certain design and its not to big let me know and i might be able to make one up.

What about short term fix a flexi pipe from one of your fog lights holes and run that to the s/c intake?

I removed the bonet lagging yesterday afternoon and i've also raised the front of the bonnet back up by 5mm. Jon had raised it originally when the SC was done but I altered it earlier in the year to get the lines looking right again. (Wonder if that had anything to do with it??)

Anyway, it back up again now. I've been out this morning and done a few stops/starts and all seems fine at the moment.

johnny u should be fine regardless up until next year as ambient temperatures are dropping
