I was playin football lastnite only to be dragged out by police to take me to my car devastated and they didnt even catch them they showed me the cctv from the incar dash cam and they took off and shot over a grass verge at about 50mph only good thing is the interior is fine nothing has moved

no I'm TPFT and yeas the car was stolen and the police were chasing i watched the video Ive phoned insurance company up both mine and the others cars policy holder and they say i cant claim so I'm at a loss gutted and even if i was fully comp and i claimed my insurance would shoot through the roof

i got my car back cost me 150 to get it and now its gone up to my mates garage to see what he can do and if its worth fixing if not Ive lost out but the only thing that's keeping sane is the fact my son wasn't in the car or anyone to the matter

possible gearbox damage

2nd hand bits u looking 400 - 500 quid

hopefully your A pillar will be oki as it seriously reduces the strength of the shell

i be more worried with what has gone on inside the engine bay tbh as the rest is pretty much cheap to replace, looks like your front bumper is intact

things like your electronic steering rack, gearbox are gonna cost

it aint nice m8 and i remember how upset robbo was after he totalled his car

get it repaired cheap as poss and sell it on as it will never drive the same again

i thought 3rd party fire and theft covers your car being nicked and a 3rd party smashing into it

sounds like the old bill chased em in his car then they legged it when it got smacked on the side, sounds like the police had to stop to check on injuries

3rd Party, Fire & Theft means that you're covered for the obvious and that the 3rd party (other driver/pedestrian/cyclist/innocent wall etc.) will get paid out when your car comes into contact with it.

Nasty, get it fixed up as cheap as you can. Second hand door will be cheap, so will a wing. Change the front strut, drop link, wishbone and that might do it, the steering rack might be bent, if your lucky it may not be. I think behind the wing will be ok.

ok i shed some light as to what happened lol abit of confusion go-in on............. i went playing footy last night and parked my car up anyway wile i was playing the police were chasing a stolen car and this car jumped the bank and hit my car at 40-50mph and they legged it.......... that's when they come and found me and gave me the bad news i got the policy number to the other car they are with tesco i phoned my insurance and they say i cant claim because their car was stolen and it wasn't the policy holders fault so looks like i loose out for minding my own business and paying insurance for naff all.............. on the up side my mates got the car so storage is free and he is having his mechanics do it so the work will be cheap guaranteed irrelevant tho as i did nothing wrong.

and yes Matt the accident happened on the car-park

Don't give up just yet! Ask the Police about 'Uninsured Loss Recovery' when an uninsured vehicle damages yours. There used to be a special department for this.
