Some advice please !

Right guys, just had it to dealers, Teck2 said everything ok, except map sensor. Will have to try and find one of those now.
They are about £75 new, i just don't have much confidence in that being the cause of all the problems.

Thanks everone for the advice.(cheers mikeS for the promp delivery of the MAP sensor !!!) I have changed the MAP sensor and it still has the same fault. Took the intake manifold off (again) to check for leaks-cracks etc and all looks fine. I am wondering what the spring opperated valve on the right hand side of the manifold does tho ?
Starting to look for another car-I need transport (my wife is complaining about me pinching her car)
I could really do with this fixed but don't know what could be causing the problem now !

just to humor me, could you get the EGR blanking plate and fit it (leave the EGR valve plugged in and off to one side). Its only £3 so not expensive if its not the source

That's exactly how mine is set up at the moment with the EGR over to one side and blanked.

I know were your comming from about blanking the EGR valve off. Think I will give it a try-nothing to loose !

Right guys, today I changed the fuel rail including all the injectors and fuel return valve- I thought one of the injectors might be sticking open ! Still the same. it idles find but as soon as you rev the engine the EML TC Airbag light comes on, the throttle stops working correctly and it overfuels causing missfire and popping in the exhaust. It will idle fine all day-but as soon as you build the revs up to about 3000 the fault occurs.
Any ideas ????

Thanks- Air leak, I have removed and checked all pipes and seals on the intake side. all fine, Tho I don't know what the tiny vacume pipe does that dissapears into a black box to the side of the polen filter. Checked the servo pipe also.
Cam timing- all the symptons would match however when the fault occurs (and its idleing lumpy as ****) It stops and idles fine as soon as the codes are cleared.
Even My local Vauxhall mechanic does not have a clue what could cause such problems. He said the MAP sensor was reading outside normal range, so i have changed that also. The thing i have noticed is when the fault accurs, i can hear the TB flap banging about. I have tried 3 throttle bodies tho ! ( and the loom between TB to ECU and even a different ECU)
Really don't know. It's going to take someone who knows the engine and managment inside out to diagnose this fault !

Only thing I have not tried is a coil pack and a new egr. Just don't want to keep buying components in the vague hope that it fixes it ! If only I knew what is causing this Fault !

It's fixed !!!!!!!!!
I removed the chain after I noticed there was more slack than there should have been and compaired it to a new one, the 2 year old chain had streched about a inch. I tried a new tensioner but it was still to slack so it's had another new full chain kit along with all gaskets etc. Just pleased it's fixed !
I have a few spare parts for sale-bits I have bought to try, i will post them up in the parts for sale section.
Vocky- you were right to suspect timing, i just disregarded it as the chain was only 2 years old.

I will probably sell the car now, as I have bought myself a Nurburgring. (with a rubber timing belt LOL)
