vocky I'm going to organise a rolling road for august/september time, then I will be able to see what the power actually is
rod1-sri Just had a look at the above link and the last one was throttle bodies. When i spoke to either courtenay sport or regal (cant remember which) they said you cant get throttle bodies for the z22se. Where did you get yours? Really want bodies now

Really want bodies now Webcon/TMS developed a kit for the VX but it requires and cable throttle conversion + standalone ECU. Webcon also sell the inlet flange adaptor to a DCOE pattern to use other TB's
vocky courtenay are the z22se supercharger specialists regal / dbilas are the z22se turbo specialists tms / webcon are the z22se throttle bodies specialists
rod1-sri cool, thanks. had a look on the site and gotta be honest, not very impressed with the power gains... £2750 for 30 bhp...
JohnnyN NA tuning is very expensive. Starting with a car the runs a turbo as standard is a far cheaper option and you get more power for your money once you do start tuning.
rod1-sri well i have 2 options, i can either fit a z20let or turbocharge my z22se using the manifolds and charger from the saab b207r engine. which would you recomend seen as your from the legendary courtenay sport :p
JohnnyN I don't work there, i'm just a very happy and loyal customer. The zlet has been done very successfully and is proven. The Saab option would be an interesting alternative. Development could be time consuming and challenging but if you're confident give it a go.
rod1-sri ah, fair enough... may i ask what is the supercharged 2.2 like to drive? is it worth the £6000 price tag?.. sorry for all the questions, i just dont wanna rush into something that will be rather expensive hahaha
JohnnyN Its a very strong torque curve. Have a look in my thread in the supercharger section. Its in the stickies. Have a look at my power and torque graphs. The drive is normal when you want it to be or all hell breaking loose at any other time. Power is instant with no lag. Even in triple figures on a private road the car still pulls strong. viewtopic.php?f=108&t=9409
