my m8s 01 plate 2.2 ls vectra b has the loom for cruise control
if yours has TC then u need to run a red wire from the 'correct' pin then hook it up 'correctly', it will work
it is possible that u have caused a fault code and the TC is permanently on as a result of messing with the wiring, i.e short,
the best way of testing the red wire is simply give it an earth for a second, and the light should come on, give it another earth and it should go off, by hooking it up to a switch your pressing the button for an earth and at the same time get illumination for the button
it is so simple it is untrue
if earthing the red wire is not doing anything or your TC is permanently on then either reset codes or unplug ecu for 30 minutes and try again, but be careful about shorting the red wire against a live wire otherwise the Tc light will stay on again
if the TC light stays on after ecu reset then u need to get codes read as it might be an abs sensor or other engine related fault
BTW i fitted mine and i hardly use it as it kills my front tyres skidding and wheel spinning everywhere and i got £260 quids worth of tyres on there
