more extreme than those :lol:
this vx220 has no heater, currently it is bypassed by just joining the two pipes together at the front, I will bypass the heater circuit on the engine, thus weight of extra coolant and excess pipework removed.
the now redundant alloy heater pipes will be used for the chargecooler system, this removes quite a bit of excess heavy chargecooler pipework and moves some weight across the car. Currently the chargecooler tank pipework was squashed between the bulkhead and sc, now it goes to the passenger side so that niggle will be gone (you can see the moved hose in the two pics above).
The head restraint brackets will be cut off the roll bar, this will remove more dead weight.
The alarm system is not complete but some parts are still fitted, these will be removed.
I will go through the entire car and see whats not required, prepare for more weight savings :lol:
