i spoke to a place in nottingham that is willing to cut out your old cat and put a 200 cell sports cat on to existing downpipe for around 170

aint 2 bad a price i suppose

i am more concerned about how thin the downpipe is and how restrictive it is

£155 - £175 seems about right for a custom exhaust place to supply and fit a 200 cel sports cat.

The pics there don't really show it but there is a serious difference in size... the pipe is about 48mm on the outside if I remember right... not even 2" :lol:

powerflow garage quoted me 150 to make a 2.5 inch downpipe

i supply the sports cat and he welds that in and fits to my car

Is the pointy graph at the top avoidable? I can feel mine doing it at the top of the rev range with the 200 cell and piper manifold fitted, I was beginning to think there was a problem.

prob more to do with fueling and ignition, worn lambda or coil pack

u might want to reset your ecu as i found that my car was running rough at idle and power loss in the midrange, reset ecu and she seems to be a lot smoother and the power is more evident around 4000

i got magenx cat back with piper 4-1

i havent yet got a sports cat as i think it is a bit 2 expensive and i think it is more down to the downpipe diameter than the actual cat

bit of a change of plan.... was gonna fit cams in the summer and see how she runs :problem:

But decided to send cams off this week for re-profiling and do something else in the summer 😃 like forge it and add NOS :o :lol:

Think the next roller day is booked for early arpril so will let ya's know how it gets on :thumbup:
