I can't wait 🙂. I need to save up for the headlights and front bumper now. The headlights will be next. Shame they cost so much with them being Xeons and the bumper is £400

Well I have been messing on with the Gsi today and I managed to fix new brackets to my old lights 8) . The are now fitted and fully working. I also have ordered a new Gsi front bumper from LMF for £425 :crazy: :lol: . So all thats next is to fit the new timing belt and water pump, give it a quick service and she will be ready for mot and tax, then off to the paint shop.

Very happy mate 🙂. I think I will still buy some new lighs for it a bit later on as the repair looks a bit crap, but it's worked lol

I sure do want to keep it. I am just waiting on the bumper from Lmf, then a timing belt kit will be fitted by me. Then it's off to the mot station and get it taxed. Paint work will be the last job I think.

I removed all my body kit today to give it a nice clean and polish, as thats one of the places that never gets cleaned. The side skirt pegs that are welded onto the sills tend to rust (seen this on a few Astras). Mine are spot on, and I even sprayed them with Wax Oil to protect them . You should see the muck that sits behind the skirts and rear bumper lol. Mine is like brand new again. I also gave it an oil change and oil fiter change today 8)

I have given the car a full going over, from undersealing the bottom of the car to the kit off and making it clean. I do plan to keep it for sure 🙂. My bumper should be here on Monday then it won't be long til It's ready to go to the paint shop.
