Induction Kit,

Now before everyone starts with i will suffer heat soak, loose power etc etc. I got it at a good price and just want to try it out. I have got a second air feed which i was going to run into a custom enclosed box.

It is like brand new.

I thought it was worth a go.

I wouldn't worry to much about heat soak TBH I have put mine in the battery cover that was around my old battery and it stays as cool as a cucumber but still sounds the absolute nuts mate.

just cut up your old airbox, to house it in, wont get any heatsoak then, good buy.

Personally, I have found with my Astra that under bonnet temps are very low anyway - especially compared to my old Mk3 XE - and I ran that with a cone on no problem.

Heat soak isn't going to be an issue on your average 2.2 unless you're on a mega track session or similar. Its all just a myth folks 😉

Get it stuck on and see how it feels - considering whacking a cone on mine!

It is still in it's box LOL. I will hopefully get round to fitting next week, that is if the rain / snow / hail will stop for just 30mins lol.

I've bought and fitted a Pipercross kit now...

Delivery seems a touch smoother, no warning lights on, its definitely not any slower (filter /pipe doesn't even get warm to the touch...)

And the noise is crazy! Quite deep from 2800 - 4000, then 6000-6500 it screams 😃 I'm very pleased with it 🙂
