robo22sri well i'm still going to go for more money seeing as they have messed me about so much! the car is worth 4k and the market is showing that!
JohnnyN Never accept the first offer, that's what I was always told. They won't budge much and you definately get the £900 difference. I'm afraid that money is gone. They may go up possibly £250 but that's about it. You can only try and I wish you the best of luck. ;-)
MikeS if you got nothing to hide then i suppose you could try and get a bit more out of em if you got any mods that aint declared or anything that will invalidate the insurance then accept their offer and get shot of the car
MikeS he got 4250 out of em apparently i thikn he has done very well considering you can buy a new vectra for under 7k

robo22sri yeah just got find another car now! ephidor has been helping me, but dont know because my insurance will be crap next year
dodger robo22sri said: does insurance come down alot whan you are over 25? i think it does make a difference as the unaffordable car becomes affordable but then it all depends on what car you want to insure and where you live and what no claims you have etc.
Matt robo22sri said: does insurance come down alot whan you are over 25? I found that mine was about the same after I turned 25 on the Vectra, it just meant that I could add the option to drive other cars. I think the drop comes with both age and no claims. I found mine dropped quite a bit with 4 years no claims and being 24. Next renewal I'll be 26 with 5 years no claims (although I've got 7 years claim free driving)
Matt Depeds on their banking policy, I just paid in a cheque from Halifax into a Halifax account, and it still took 5 working days to clear.
