The insurance company should give you access to the car to collect any personal belongings, i went to see mine and swapped out all my high performance bulbs for standard ones, got my imscher door pins off and loads of other bits just put the standard bits back on.
If they don't that is out of order, remember as i have said before the car still belongs to you until they pay you for it, don't let them get away with it.
