Oh no mate I know I was worried about the screws on mine as they seemed tight. But what do you mean not fixed? Have you managed to test pump and its still no good?

Yes, took it out last night and still the same. Mine is a misfire in 1 and 4.

Can't believe its not fixed it for you esp as your pump has done so many miles. You've already changed the plugs havnt you? I know driving it round not running right had wrecked mine. You could always swap them and see if missfire changes cylinders

Yep, changed plugs, coil and pump.
Plugs before were Iridium and only 2 months old. Were absolutely fine when I took out but still I changed back to VX for the 4 pin which has the correct gap.
I didn't like the 0.7mm gap when it should be more.
Each time my mechanic came to read codes he gave me descriptions rather than codes and i'm wandering if i'm missing something.
Need a compression test now but not sure weather to pay him to do or buy myself. Gonna have to have codes read again so he will be out.
U all had 1 misfire and I have 1 and 4 so issue seems differant.
Might try and change the injectors round and see if the cylinder changes. They are a pain in the arse to get back in though.

If your any where near hull I now have spare coil pack and regulator you could try

I have 2 coil packs now. Someone said FPR so am thinking how I can test that without buying another part that is fine.
So far this issue has cost me 350 for spares.
At least I can sell the old pump for some dosh

Mine was missfiring 1 and 2 in the end. Can you not do the pedal test and see what codes come up?

It's the only vehicle that does not have peddle test. They did not put it on the 2.2 Vec C/Signum.
He only charges a tenner to read and clear them for me. It's the fault finding I don't think he can do as he has looked.
Def don't want to go to VX but may have to to find.
Will see if he can come and do pressure test and codes when I have a little spare cash.

Only other thing I can think of is the fuel pressure sensor maybe I'm sure I read it can be that as well.

Thats why I said about u guys changing the FPR.
If u all did this and nothing changed the FPR is fine.
I am reluctant to buy a new as this is the third time for mis-diagnosing.
I read on here that if FPR was faulty it would kill the enigne, not misfire.

My car never had the recall done on the regulator when I checked with vauxhall its prob the original one. But I presume it was actually working ok. If you want I don't mind posting it to you to see if it's that. I don't need it.

That's not what vauxhall told me they said it puts it into limp mode if regulator is gone and that's why not a safety recall. But I'm not sure if that's true

I'm sure someone can confirm that as I thought that was the pump. The FPR has had a recall and mine was done in 2010.

From what I've read I think the regulator CAN cut the engine out but not always. I suppose it just depends how bad it is and anyway if yours has had the recall it will have the updated one so maybe it's made so it doesn't do that now? I'm just guessing on that mind. But like I said earlier your more than welcome to have my old one to give it a shot. I presume it actually works ok.

Well I would like to try an FPR if anyone is up for sending me theirs if the fault was the fuel pump.

I don't have any lights coming ON. When I accelerate harder, the car experience a very hard jerk, rather like someone slam on the brake then let off the brake very quickly. It happens at any speed. soft or gentle acceleration no problem.
I let go off the gas pedal it resume OK. I had the FPR changed not long ago, so it can't be that. Any suggesstions
