Z22YH & P1191 fault code

Not found that answer yet.
From pics I have seen it has a diaphragm in but I have never heard of anyone repairing them.
If the Siemens has common faults then it's probably not practical. Then again, second hand are still worth 100-180

I saw a failed one that was taken apart and it was a hole in the diaphragm. You would think you could just replace that but I don't know.
The other thing on my mind is the fuel pressure sensor could it be that

It should not go into limp mode if it is that, so many people confirming that. It should cut out from what others have said.
If it's not pump that will be the next thing

You can repair the pump, I've seen it done but it will just go again in time. I'll try anbd find the thread but it needs several new parts including some sort of specific hydraulic oil.

Thanks rushy well it's definitely the pump now as coil packs made no difference

Sorry mate I cant find the thread, its not on this forum, think its on AON as they use the Z22YH in the Zaffy as well. These threads are only just starting to creep on to this site but its a huge problem, its not if but when with these Siemens pumps unfortunately. You could push your dealer for a free FPR ,I think it was a silent recall but you'll just get an F Off when it comes to the pump.

When I kicked up with vauxhall customer services about regulator recall best I got go the end was get local dealer to call them and they might make a contribution towards it. Just did it myself thought it would still be cheaper. Anyway ordered my pump yesterday £265 on ebay. If that don't do it I give up

Well stripped pump down definitely gone as oil was leaking to cam so iv ordered a new pump now for £265 can't wait

I paid the same. We all went same place I bet.

Mine has oil underneath it when connected so hopefully we can all be sorted with this problem.
Should be here moro or wed so let me know how u all get on.

The PIC of the inside of pump or most threads about the siemens I got from Vectra-C forum. This guy had the same problem with a Continental pump.

Ha ha that guy on ebay is doing a roaring trade on these pumps this week.
Anyway mine came today swapped it over and it seems to be driving a dream. Tell you what tho my heart was in my mouth when I was putting my foot down just waiting for that little lurch and the dreaded light to come on.
Hopefully that's it tho I really hope it sorts it for you guys as well I feel your pain.

Well played Jordy, hope it stays away.
Mine should get delivered today but don't want to hold up my nights after work and the family so may do on the weekend.
Although I am desperate to have it fixed and we all know it takes 10 mins to fit.
Jordy, did you have the fault when you put it on and had to clear it or was the fault not there when you changed?

Thanks guys yes its such a relief to have it finally fixed I'm sure it will be same for you.
Yes gary when I changed it the eml was on but even with it on I could tell straight away it was driving fine. I then pulled over and used the torque app on my phone to clear the fault codes just to be sure it didn't come back on.
I'm sure after a couple of days with the fault not showing it goes out itself tho.

Well, changed it. Yet to test as I have just broke a screw.
Right a**!
The new never came with new and when I removed the old pump they didn't feel right.
All 3 seemed to keep screwing but only 1 snapped.
Now, these aint gonna be easy to find so, do I just get a M6x75 bolt x3 and replace them?
Can these be sourced from VX as the last time I asked for screws they only come with whatever you buy?
