Hi I have a 07 Vauxhall zafira 2.2 SRi with fuel pump problems.. it has a Siemens pump and I was wondering if I have to replace it with a Siemens one or if I can fit a continental one?
ZafiraSRiJonny, the Continental fuel pump was fitted by many as a replacement for the Siemens but either can be used.
It is worth checking the FPR ( Fuel Pressure Regulator) at the same time.
I believe Vauxhall had a recall for both the pump and FPR at one stage for the Z22YH engine vehicles.
Incidentally, E10 petrol should not be used in Z22YH engines.
