z22se porting

decided to port my inlet and exhaust ports put old gasket on exhaust side marked with marker pen ,attacked it with die grinder ,sandpaper, smoothed best I could, same to inlet ,didn't go to the edge left 1-2 mm to be safe ,didn't take pictures for before and after I know what a d--k,

opening up the exhaust ports works very well on the z22se, but don't go too mad further inside as the head casting is quite thin. No More than 1mm should be removed unless you have a Saab head.

hi mate all depends on how good a job you want,it took about a hour ,I used a burr ,wot you use in dye grinders, rips alloy to bits and finished with 120 grit sandpaper then 320 grit all depends on you and how good you want it?

Really is that all, so u could pull them head off port it and put it all back in on one day then? Can it be done with the valves cams in the head still?
