A few pics of a NA build - Eagle rods, Wiseco 10:1 CR pistons, Supertech 94lb springs, Comp stage 2 cams

Sump cleaned by machine shop

Rebored block - with balancer delete

head skimmed - only a very light skim

valve seats recut and valves refaced, then lapped in

Supertech springs fitted and injector blanks added (engine will have ITBs)

Comp stage 2 cams, with brand new Saab roller rockers

nothing so fancy .... anti corrosion coating to stop the bores rusting

tweaked another ITB engine

it already had z22yh bottom end (11:1 CR), tullet exhaust manifold, compcams stage 3 na cams, supertech valves and matching double valve springs and balancer delete

new piston rings fitted


a little port matching on the inlet manifold


opened up the exhaust ports


And all done

Built up a brand new z22se engine from a new block I found and a new head I already had laying about.
Eagle steel rods, Wiseco 8.9:1 pistons, balancer delete, new water pump, new chains, new oil pump and opened up the exhaust ports

New block as bought


Eagle rods, Wiseco pistons, new bearings and new genuine head bolts


brand new genuine water pump, balancer delete and brand new genuine chain fitted


Pistons fitted


Eagle steel rods


Brand new cylinder head, genuine B207 head gasket, new oil pump, gasket and genuine cam chain fitted


Brand new complete cylinder head with opened up exhaust ports
