But on a serious note, specialist tools and equipment required. Windscreens are also quite expensive, so I'd rather it break, and pay the £70 excess and let the insurance company do it.

was going to say its not a diy job
you can't just put it in with silicone :)

jigs and propper sealing rubber adhesive are required

the windscreen also accounts for a lot of the structural integrity on the front end of the car, so it needs to be done right.

I can have one for free see and Im sick of the scratches from previous owners wiper blades. I dont think I got windscreen cover. Havevto check. Cheers guys
