where to put axel stands ????

i need to put my car on axle stands tommrow to remove my precat on

the thing is i know where to jack the car up but if you use the jack up point where do i put the axel stands ?

please dont laugh i really dont have a clue

Buy some wheel ramps instead. Much quicker and less messing about unless you need to remove a wheel. I use two bits of scaffold board to soften the angle and reduce any possibility of the lowered car hittting the ramp with the front lip.

I think you just put them on the jacking points notsure.gif , I just normaly jack my car up and leave it on a jack and work from under . I also think the Astra has a section near the jacking points to put the axle stands on. I will see if I can get a picturs, but it may not work well as it's dark

as for ramps car is to low to go up them even with boards i reckon

very dangerous that mark! I know of 2 people that have had cars fall on them and it wasn`t nice!
