When buying a z22se 2.2, make sure it's had any re work to the oil nozzle and chain work first, as some had a problem with the oil nozzle causing the chain to dry out and snap. As normal, the lower miles engines are better to go for, but mine is a high miler with 109,000 and runs mint! It's best if the car has a good service history, so you know if it's been looked after. If you are not sure about the chain re work, you can always ask Vauxhall about it. If it's ok, I would still recommend you replace the cam chain for better peace of mind, knowing it's going to last you a long time! The 2.2 engine is a great engine, the one I have now is my first one and I love it
