I like Pioneer audio stuff, I think the sound is good! I also had a Alpine head unit once and the sound was class. I will always stay with Pioneer now though :p

alpine head units are killer i love having 4volt pre outs :D

Alpine for me anytime. I've had Alpines now for 12 years. I started off with Pioneer when I was 17. I blew it up in my mk1 Astra 1.6 SR. Then I had a RadioMobile. rofl..

I had that for about a week. I then had a Panasonic for a while and then I got my first Alpine when I was about 19. I have had nothing else since. My now wife dropped the first one. The second one I left on the garden wall by accident and someone walked off with it. I've had 7 in all and they've all been fantastic.

I've had a mix of audio, I've had 2 Kenwood, 1 Pioneer , and 2 Sony Headunits. The best one by far was the Pioneet, although it wasn't MP3, and thats what I really wanted, so I bought a sony one.

Amps: I've had a few of these as well. Had Boss (crap) SPLX (really good vaule for money) and have now got JBL, which I love. Got this one:

JBL P180.2

Subs: Had Kenwood 10"(fired the voice coil), Magnat 10" (sold as it was in the wrong box), had a boss 2x10" in a bandpass box, was really good for deep bass, but no good for Dance music. Now I'm running a JBL GT4 15" in a sealed box. Kicks nice and hard, and can drop really low when needed.

I've got 2 of the above subs. They are 12" though and they are in a sealed box too. They do kick like a bitch. I'm also running a Fusion 504e amp. I've had an Alpine V12 in the past but I rate this Fusion better.

Anything by Bush, Goodmans, or Matsui for me rofl..

Nah just kidding guys, i've still got the standard VX CD player in mine as there's no point in upgrading it as I never get to listen to it anyway, and I'm not spending a fortune on a setup for the missus to play Shane Ward or Darius on, it's loud enough as it is tbh

i remember my mate used to have a goodmans pull out radio when he first passed his test 10 years ago, we both thought it was the dogs bollocks lol. I guess it was then as pull out radios had only just come out.
