yes since ive fitted the brake servo to the saab vacuum pump the braking system has improved by a big amount the issue i have now is the front is very strong and the rear is not got much at allDo you think the will make much difference over the Astra VXR ones?
i thought about it but i just cba it would be far easier to just fix them at least that way they will be EVO vxr callipersi think drill, tap then m6 n then drill new holes in the centre of that.
but if you got them off ebay i would get on there case n start a dispute, cos its work u shouldnt have to do
i will message him in the mean time and see if he can offer me a part refund because there s**t lolfind the fcuker who did it and beat them over the head with it
cant do it now getting the car packed for billing lol will do it next weekend lol i might even just burr the hole open more stick some 2mm stainless bar in the hole and weld it up with alloy in the migshow us how to "EVO FIX" them then, it mite be usefull in the future.
defo get a part refund, gota be a good few hours to fix so a few hours labour.
there alloyare they ally or cast steel calipers?
if there cast(i didnt think cast welded very well)
with alloy you can stick a bit of stainless in the hole and weld around it it wont stick to it like steel weld wont stick to copperlike i said im sure u know what your doing,
n with ally couls you just get the hole.tig welded up then redrill new holes?
will take a bit of work getting them fitted but wont take long i dont thinkLooking forward to seeing these fitted.
I know the clips can be a pain in the arse unless you know the technique, but I'd never consider drilling them out!!!
this will be my 3rd set from them the 1st time i used them was june 2012 for my dads pajero one of the pistons seized there kit got it fixed and is still working to this dayI've used BiggRedd before. Good work Carl .
I don't suppose you have a pair of 308mm caliper brackets you don't need now?
the 308's have now all gone i could get some soon quite easy ?
sent you a pmI'm just after 308mm front caliper carriers to go with the 264 rear caliper carriers. I'm more than happy to clean and paint a set ready for the next brake upgrade .
