Do you think the will make much difference over the Astra VXR ones?
yes since ive fitted the brake servo to the saab vacuum pump the braking system has improved by a big amount the issue i have now is the front is very strong and the rear is not got much at all
hoping to gain some rear bias with these bringing the system level again and not go to the point of rear lockup not that it will happen with abs :)

here some work on the calipers
strip down

have stumbled on an issue
looks like some one dont know how to pull the spring clips out
all the holes have been drilled and had broken clips in the holes
WP_20140710_16_59_52_Pro.jpg

tapped the cut of bits out with a 2mm punch real easy
WP_20140710_16_34_06_Pro.jpg

but now left with the aftermath and the repair job

:) with alloy you can stick a bit of stainless in the hole and weld around it it wont stick to it like steel weld wont stick to copper :)
i can do it with the mig if i open the hole up big enuff

Looking forward to seeing these fitted.

I know the clips can be a pain in the arse unless you know the technique, but I'd never consider drilling them out!!!

will take a bit of work getting them fitted but wont take long i dont think :)
fixing the callipers is something that needs attention but the mounting plate is top priority

while i was away at billing the biggred seal kit came

I've used BiggRedd before. Good work Carl :).

I don't suppose you have a pair of 308mm caliper brackets you don't need now? ;)
