Veccy c intake, de-restrict airbox

Hi,
I today fought with the standard air-intake pipe off my astra mk4 2.2 Sri, took me ages to get it out! I removed the airbox and took out the bottom and top pipes to de-restrict and then put in the veccy 2 air intake pipe which has the bigger scoop, again, this took absolutely ages for me and had to cut some of the pipe going into the intake pipe off.

What I want to ask is there some sort of flexible piping you can get to connect the air-intake to the air box as mine isn't perfectly connected (little gaps going to the air-intake veccy pipe from the airbox pipe).

Any advice is much appreciated.

Go on eBay and search cold air feed, got mine off there (and it's still in the shed waiting for me to fit it)

Looks a lot like the one I bought... as long as it's the right size pipe to fit the airbox inlet then jobs a goodun I reckon.

Prob is the veccy pipe end is larger than the one on the airbox...and sort of an oval shape?!

Flip the existing astra pipe around so that it slides into the vec c pipe.

Then you may have to wrap some tape around the end of it so that its a tight fit
