Unknown mileage on 2nd user z22se

Bought a Z22SE engine from my local scrappy. Clocks were already missing on the donor car so ive no idea on the mileage. I removed the tensioner whilst it was in the donor car & it looked healthy with golden oil leaking out of it. Took the plunge and bought it. Collected the following weekend.

Oh boy i had no idea what was waiting for me under the cam cover or behind the oil pump/chain cover. It even has the revised chain kit (engine number started with 107---)






Only bad point is when the guys at the scrappy removed the engine; they somehow managed to punch a hole in the sump


Ive cleaned the cam cover now



So any guesses on the mileage of this little beauty???

P.S. it was out of another auto bertone coupe.

well my old vectra was golden inside and it had 105k on the clock

u might find pics under benny if you do a search

If the ECU was there you could have got the mileage from it via opcom.

hmmmm i did get the ecu..... is it easy to recover the mileage on opcom?

It is on mine mate, shows in Km though. My car is at the crash repair center at the moment but when it's back I'll look to see how I did it.
