Well my car has gone in to get some work done my mate let me borrow his car so i thought i would give it a quick wash and wax for him. I thought i would give my new camera a blast too.

Pre-rinsed with snow foam. Then washed with two bucket method.Dried with a WW towel and megs last touch spray.
Wheels cleaned with AG wheel cleaner and brush.

Tyres treated with poorboys bold and brite, exhuast cleaned woth autosol and 00 wirewool and then nxt polish.

Inside hoovered and then Poorboys natural dressing used.

Outside had a quick coat of Megs show glaze #7 and then topped off with nattys blue wax.

About 3hrs work. I think it looks a fair bit better.

very nice Si, is the natty's blue easy to apply?

Very easy to apply, once there is a little warmth in the pad it just melts like butter, Like you will know with any wax a thinner layer is only required and i just do one panel at a time. It's not a really durable wax but for the price and the looks it gives i use after every other wash.

Looks really good, and it`s black!!!
I`m really gonna have to adhere to your advice and get some decent kit and look after mine.

Washings not a problem, it`s the `towel drying`?? (not my synthetic chamois) and using the right cloth to apply and remove polish with minimal swirls!!!!

When it comes to drying adding some quick detailer will really help it aids drying and stops the water marks also. You can get detailer in small bottles which may last 4 / 5 cars or you can buy in bulk 1 us gallon and water it down. i have had a bottle for about a year and still got a 1/4 left.

I really rate megs plush towels and also pakshak towels. for removing polish and wax.

great job is he expecting it to be cleaned??

No Neil not expecting it at all, think i have OCD or somthing i could not handle a dirty car on my drive

Plus the fact i thought i would take it for a spin and used a 1/4 of fuel when VTEC kicks in it really uses some juice

So i thought it was only fair to give it a quck clean.
