two bucket method??????

hi all this might sound a very stupid question but what is the two bucket cleaning method? notsure.gif

The 2 bucket method involves washing the car using two buckets. One bucket contains the warm soapy water (bucket 1), and other other bucket contains clean warm water (bucket 2). You always load the sponge with warm soapy water from bucket 1, pass it over the car, and rinse it in bucket 2. Load fresh soapy water from bucket 1, and repeat. It basically prevents you from rubbing dirt over your car while cleaning it.

No i always use warm water with solution and rinse bucket. You can use cold water to pre rinse and for complete rinse off after the wash stage.

is there any advantage using cold or warm water when washing your car?

i always love to keep my car super clean but lack the know how :(

There is an advantage using warm water as this helps the solution lather up more thus giving you better lube when doing wash stage and i also find that mitts are softer in warmer water, reducing the risk of paint marring.

I found no issues with using cold water to sheet off at the end or pre-rinse.
